Washington D.C. postal workers intercepted a package on Monday morning addressed to Long Island Rep. Peter King that contained a bloody pig’s foot and a note that read “Kiss my black Muslim ass,” before it reached the office of the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.
The person who sent the note referred to herself as a woman and included a message that mentioned the controversial house hearings investigating the radicalization of American Muslims that was led by King in March. The message referred to King as a “Jew” but King is Catholic.
Capitol Hill authorities are investigating the incident.
