Boston Mayor Martin Walsh will take to Facebook today to interact with his constituents during a question-and-answer forum.
The social media event will happen at 1:30 p.m. at facebook.com/cityofboston. A Walsh spokeswoman said the Q&A will focus on education and innovation.
“When I took office in January, I pledged to listen, learn and lead,” Walsh said in a post on the city’s Facebook page.
“From town meetings to social media, I’m hearing what constituents envision for our city’s future. Facebook’s Q&A event is a digital and social way that makes it easy for constituents to join the dialogue, and I’m looking forward to another great firsthand conversation on Monday.”
Hashtags for the event are #ourboston and #socialbos.
