Boston police seek Roxbury mom, son missing since August

Authorities are seeking the public’s help to locate a 20-year-old Roxbury mother and her 1-year-old son who were last seen in August, and said that the woman’s husband is a person of interest.

Boston police said Maria Altagracia Reina-Delacruz, also known asMaria Serret-Tejeda, and her son,Royce Noe Reina-Serret, have not been seen since Aug. 17.

According to police, she left her Roxbury home with her son and headed for New York. However, they never returned home. Police did not immediately say why she left for New York with her son.

All attempts to contact Altagracia Reina-Delacruz have been unsuccessful.

“Her family is concerned for her safety and the wellbeing of her young son,” Boston police said in a statement.

Attempts to reach her husband, and the father of her child,Noe Reina-Delacruz, have also been unsuccessful.

Police saidNoe Reina-Delacruz is considered a person of interest in the disappearance and is wanted on unrelated matters.

Police describedAltagracia Reina-Delacruz as a white Hispanic woman about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds with a thin build and dyed blonde hair.
