The Boston Pops are popping-up around the Northeast Sunday and Monday to spread the word about the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, which for the first time ever will be live-streamed.
The free concerts, which run about an hour, kicked off at noon Sunday with a performance at Six Flags New England in Agawam, Mass.
-Sunday, June 29, 5 p.m.: Titus Sparrow Park in the South End, Boston
-Monday, June 30, 7:30 a.m.: Logan Airport, Terminal B, Boston
-Monday, June 30, 2 p.m.: Father Duffy Square, Times Square, New York City
-Monday, June 30, 5:45 p.m.: Bedford Street, Downtown Stamford, Conn.
The 41st annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on the Esplanade will happen this July 4th at the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell. The performance will be led by Keith Lockhart, with guest performances by The Beach Boys, Megan Hilty, and the Boston Children’s Chorus.
Two lead principals from The Phantom of the Opera will also perform.
