A 3-year-old boy died Sunday evening after he fell from a third-floor window in the Frankford section of Philadelphia.
The boy fell about 30 feet from a rear window of an apartment on the 1600 block of Foulkrod Street about 6:10 p.m., 6ABC Action News reports. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
The boy's parents were not home at the time of the incident, but his godmother and aunt were in the apartment. He was in a room with his 2- and 4-year-old sisters, according to the report.
Toys were found on the ground near where the boy fell, giving the impression the boy may have been tossing them from the window before he fell.
