A Brockton man pleaded guilty on Monday to 299 charges of rape and sexual assault for attacks on an underage girl that lasted for years.
Terry Jackson, 56, pleaded guilty after his attorney and prosecutors reached a plea deal, according to the Brockton Enterprise.
A judge sentenced Jackson to between 40 and 50 years in prison. Prosecutors had wanted up to 100 years in prison and Jackson’s lawyer was seeking as few as 20 years.
The victim was between 11 and 14 years old at the time of the attacks and was known to Jackson. She reported everything to her mother earlier this year.
Prosecutors said investigators found more than a dozen video tapes of the rapes because Jackson filmed his attacks. They also found about 100 pictures of the victim in her underwear.
