The 63-year-old head of a Bronx motorcycle club was convicted of attempted murder on Friday for shooting a man who urinated on his friend’s bike outside of a Bronx bar.

Elvio Feola, who in his capacity as president of the Bronx chapter of theSatan’s Soldiers biker club was known as “Spike,” faces up to 25 years in prison for attempted murder. He faces an additional 15 years for the possession of an illegal weapon, the Bronx district attorney’s office said.

Feola was found guilty of shooting David Butler, then 25, once at close range during an altercation outside of the Fiddler’s Elbow Bar in Throggs Neck two years ago. Butler survived but the bullet remains lodged in his spine to this day because removing it could paralyze him.

The verdict comes two weeks after a shocking assault by a bike gang on the West Side Highway.

Feola’s sentencing is set for Nov. 15.
