A Bronx man who was caught on surveillance video as he assaulted a man and his 6-year-old daughter at a laundromat has been arrested.

Fernando Gonzalez, 27, entered the laundromat at 4825 White Plains Rd. Saturday evening and assaulted a man and his young daughter and then sprayed them with mace.

Gonzalez surrendered to police on Monday night, the New York Post reported. He has been charged with assault.

The video reveals Gonzalez entering the laundromat and then throwing numerous punches before spraying the 47-year-old victim and his daughter with mace.

The victims did not know the attacker, but the Post reports that the victim and the suspect’s girlfriend had gotten into an argument earlier over a prepaid card needed to use the washers and dryers. The girlfriend called the suspect, who later showed up and attacked the victim.
