A 66-year-old Bronx woman was beaten and her throat slashed in her apartment Monday, police said.
The woman’s daughter found her inside the Arthur Avenue apartment in Belmont about 4 p.m.
The victim, who suffered severe head wounds and a large cut to her throat, was taken to St. Barnabus Hospital in critical condition.
Officials said there were no signs of a break-in, The New York Daily News reported. The investigation is ongoing.
