The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a young woman from the Bronx who vanished on Friday along with her boyfriend’s toddler daughter.
Katherine Peguero, 24, was last seen on Friday around 6:45 p.m. when she left a birthday party in Manhattanwith one-year-old Islenny Rodriguez Deleon, police said.
Peguero’s boyfriend had given her permission to take the little girl to the party, locatedat1370 St. Nicholas Avenue in Washington Heights,but the tworeportedly got into a verbal dispute over the phone and she never came home.
Peguero is described as five foot six and 120 pounds with a light complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. A tattoo on her right arm says “TONY.”Rodriguez Deleon is described as three foot one and 50 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes.
