A Bronx woman’s fortune cookie proved lucky for her after she won a $2 million Powerball prize using the numbers printed inside the cookie, lottery officials announced on Thursday.

“I was surprised, but pleased,” Emma Duvoll, 75, said in a statement.

Five out of six numbers from the cookie matched the Powerball drawing on Feb. 1. She purchased the winning ticket from Hannaford Pharmacy in upstate Pine Bush.

Duvoll chose the Power Play option which increases the payout when a winning combination is hit. She earned a $2 million payday which will be paid out as a lump sum payment of $1,246,085 after taxes.

“I took some time contemplating what I will do with the money,” she said. “I plan to invest most of it and maybe take a trip to Switzerland to visit family.”
