Brooklyn teen dies after early Sunday shooting: NYPD

A Brooklyn woman died after she was shot eight times in front of a Bed-Stuy apartment building.

On Monday, Police said the 18-year-old woman — identified as Beverly Turner of East New York — was already on the ground when officers responded to an emergency call of shots fired at around 1:20 a.m.

Officers said they arrived in front of a home on Quincy Street near Marcy Avenue to find Turner with eight gunshot wounds to her body.

Alive at the time, emergency workers rushed her to Kings County Hospital Center, but authorities said she soon succumbed to her injuries.

Investigators made no arrests as of Monday morning, and police said they consider the case ongoing.
