If you feel like you just have to let the Boston Bruins know that you’re rooting for them you can head down to the TD Garden this morning and wish them luck.

The Bruins on Monday announced plans for a sendoff rally at the Garden for this morning.

The sendoff event will take place at the Level 2 turnstiles because of the bad weather. Because the event has to be held indoors, only the first 1,000 fans will be admitted.

Fans can enter at the East Premium entrance at 10:30 a.m. for the free and public event.

The Bruins will travel to Chicago later today ahead of Wednesday night’s Stanley Cup Finals Game 1 against the Blackhawks. Game 2 will take place Saturday night and the championship series will return to Boston on Monday and Wednesday for games 3 and 4.

The last time the Bruins made the Stanley Cup Finals, fans were allowed into the parking lot in front of the Garden as players boarded coach buses. Players stopped and signed autographs and high-fived the hundreds of people that showed up to wish the team well.
