A Cambridge Rindge and Latin student was stabbed by another student during a fight at the school Tuesday morning.
Cambridge police were called to the high school about 8:45 a.m., according to a police spokesman.
Two girls became involved in a fight that resulted in one of them being stabbed in the shoulder. The student was taken to a local hospital for a minor injury.
Police arrested the other student and recovered the weapon. The ages and names of the students involved were not released.
A Cambridge police spokesman said the argument between the students appeared to have started Monday evening and continued at school on Tuesday.
Authorities are investigating.
