A three-judge panel at a Manhattan appeals court unanimously denied accused ‘cannibal cop’ Gilberto Valle’s request for bail this morning, upholding three separate rulings by lower-court judges.
Public defender Edward Zas told the NY Post that they would seek a one-month delay of the trial yesterday afternoon. The trial was set to start next week.
Zas noted that there were 40,000 people involved in the cannibalist-sexual fetish website where he insists Valle was just indulging in “fantasy role-playing.”
