A New Jersey woman will be arraigned today after her arrest at Logan Airport for allegedly smuggling a half-kilogram of cocaine in her stomach.
Luisa Gill, 21, arrived at Logan from the Dominican Republic about 8 p.m. Saturday, reported WCVB-TV.
When Customs officers questioned her, she eventually admitted to swallowing 50 pellets of compacted cocaine, police said.
She was treated at Massachusetts General Hospital, where the pellets were recovered.
