Comcast reported this morning a 7 percent increase in revenue for its second quarter compared with 2012, according to a news release.
The Philadelphia-based company reported $16.3 billion in revenue, up from $15.2 billion in 2012.
In terms of net income, the company said it made $3.1 billion in the second quarter of 2012, and $3.4 billion in 2013.
The second quarter extends from April 1 to June 30.
"Cable had outstanding growth, particularly in high-speed Internet, and NBCUniversal had strong performance across all of its businesses," said Brian L. Roberts, chairman and CEO of Comcast Corp., in a news release.
