Commuter rail delivers donations to tornado victims

The Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad is partnering with the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army in a Tornado Relief Drive to help families in Western and Central Massachusetts affected by the recent storms.

From today through July 20 commuters can make donations at drop off locations under the clock at South Station and at the North Station Information counter.

The MBCR is looking for donations of bottled water, canned food and other non-perishable food, toiletries, underclothing, and sheets.

All donated goods will be delivered to Worcester by the commuter rail and met by the two agencies for pick-up.
