Construction is slowly increasing in the city, according to a new report.
The New York Building Congress reported Monday that private sector construction employment increased 2.4 percent in 2012.
And new construction is continuing to gain momentum in 2012, the report found, already up 1.3 percent from a year ago.
Wages remain unchanged, according to the report.
Construction employed 114,875 people in 2012, an increase from 112,192 in 2011.
