A police officer stumbled upon an armed robbery at a Center City pretzel shop Tuesday, police said.
Two men walked into the store, on the 800 block of Washington Avenue, stuck a gun in the cashier's face and demanded money, police said.
After grabbing $393, the men bound the cashier's hands with zip ties.
As the cashier was pulled into a back room, a police officer entered the store and started speaking to a customer who complained about the service, police said.
The police officer went behind the counter and spotted the two men and the cashier in the office.
No injuries were reported.
Donte Camp, 40, of the 1100 block of S. 52nd Street; and Calvin Clark, 43, of the 1900 block of Berry Lane in Bensalem, were charged with robbery, unlawful restraint, violation of the uniform firearms act and related charges.
