Scores of college-aged people were sent home by police who broke up multiple late-night parties in the Mission Hill neighborhood last weekend.

Boston police report that officers, along with Northeastern University police, broke up five parities early Saturday morning because of noise complaints.

Officers responded to the parties between about midnight and 2 a.m., police said.

At one party on Alleghany Street, officers found 20 people standing on the back deck consuming what appeared to be alcoholic beverages. When police entered the home they found about 70 people attending the party. Officers told the partiers to go home and were unable to find the tenants.

At the other incidents, the tenants were summonsed to court for various charges including being a minor in possession of alcohol and drinking in public.
