Cops seek man who stole gallons of vodka

There’s a guy in the Springfield area who apparently loves peace vodka.

Police in Springfield said that officers are investigating a theft from a city liquor store in which a man stole gallons of peach-falovered vodka.

Officers were called to the Allen Street liquor store in the early morning hours of Sunday for a report of a breaking and entering. Police said a man smashed the store’s window and stole several gallons ofAmsterdam peach vodka.

Officers searched the area with police dogs but could not find the man.

Police later found opened bottles of Amsterdam peach alcohol in an abandoned house.

Police described the suspect as a black man, about 40 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black shirt with a white square on the back.

Detectives are investigating.
