A 27-year-old woman riding a Bronx bus was threatened by a man with a knife after she observed him masturbating and told him to stop, police said.
The victim was aboard a BX2 bus with her children about 5:45 p.m. on July 9 when she saw the suspect masturbating. The woman told the man to stop and alerted the bus driver. The suspect then approached the woman and displayed a knife, police said.
The two got into a struggle and the victim grabbed the man’s hand to defend herself. The suspect fled the bus when it came to a stop at East 171st Street and Grand Concourse.
No injuries were reported. Police released photos of the suspect this week.
