A 23-year-old woman and 32-year-old man together committed suicide in a Delaware state park on Jan. 2, the chief medical examiner said today.

An employee of Blackbird State Forest stumbled upon the two bodies sitting inside a car parked at the forest campground around 1 p.m. on the second day of 2014. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The deaths of the man and woman, both from Clayton, Del., were classified as a double suicide earlier today.

Delaware State Police said it will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident, but no further details are expected to be released.
