An attorney was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly trying to bring drugs to an inmate in a Chelsea courthouse lockup.
The unidentified attorney was expected to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon in Chelsea District Court, according to the Suffolk district attorney’s office.
Authorities said state police arrested the attorney for “trying to bring a controlled substance to a person in the building’s lockup,” the Suffolk district attorney’s office said.
