Are you looking to do something to benefit the One Fund while still getting in your workout? Well tonight you have the chance.

Dance for Boston will take place on the Boston Common tonight. It’s an all ages and open 2-hour dance fitness class that begins at 6 p.m. While the event is free, donations are suggested and there will be booths set up where people can contribute to the One Fund. Dance for Boston t-shirts will also be available for $10 with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the fund.

The event is sponsored by The Sports Club/LA, Emerson College, Summer Shack and Peterson’s Party Rentals.

Alexa Malzone, Angela Lanoue and other Boston-area instructors will lead the event that features Top 40, Latin, Hip-Hop and Zumba music.

Organizers said they’ve held similar events in the past that have attracted as many as 300 people. This time they’re hoping 500 people show up.

Lanoue was a friend of Krystle Campbell, one of the three people killed when the bombs went off on Boylston street.

“Dancing has always been a way for me to heal,” Lanoue told Emerson College. “What better way to start healing our beautiful city than to dance?”
