A Dorchester man was arrested Saturday morning in connection with six armed robberies throughout Boston.

Richard Calderon-Colon, 40, is accused of robbing at gunpoint three McDonald’s and three Dunkin’ Donuts, and making off with cash just before closing time.

Calderon-Colonreportedly hung out in the restaurants and in some incidents ordered coffee before the alleged robberies.

The first hold up happened on May 13 at a Washington Street McDonalds. The last robbery occurred on May 29, at a Mass Ave. McDonalds. Boston Police saidCalderon-Colon jumped over the counter during some of the robberies.

He was arrested after Boston Police found him sleeping in a car parked on Ames Street. He is expected to be arraigned Monday in Dorchester District Court.
