Fast food workers from NYC and St. Louis will strike in Manhattan on Thursday.
Fast food workers from McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, KFC and Domino's are set to strike on Thursday morning in Manhattan.
The New York City workers are demanding $15 an hour minimum wage and the right to unionize, and will be joined by workers from St. Louis.
The first strike is planned for 7:15 a.m. on Thursday outside McDonald's at 220 W. 42nd Street. The second strike is planned for 11:45 a.m. outside McDonald's at 946 8th Avenue.
The fast food workers are expected to be joined by elected officials, community supporters and clergy.
