Revere's International House of Pancakes restaurant, commonly referred to as IHOP, went up in flames Monday morning.
A two-alarm fire ripped through the popular Route 60 restaurant in the early morning hours, sending a stream of smoke billowing through the roof.
NECN is reporting that the fire started in the kitchen and spread across the roof. The Chelsea Fire Department responded to the call on Squire Road and had the scene under control in under an hour.
Authorities estimate that the fire caused around $250,000 of damage.
