Emergency personnel arrived to find heavy flames coming from a Dorchester home Thursday.
The call about a fire came in just before 10:20 a.m. at 24 Freeman St., according to the fire department.
When firefighters arrived there were flames showing from the three-story home.
The fire was upgraded to two alarms, and there was heavy fire in the rear of the home, according to the fire department.
There was no immediate word on injuries.
