Five people were injured by gunfire in two separate incidents in Philadelphia on Thursday night.

The first shooting happened about 7 p.m. on the 4900 block of Greenway Street, in the city's Kingsessing section, 6ABC Action News reports. It left three men in their 20s injured, with two sustaining single gunshot wounds to their lower bodies and the third two gunshot wounds -- one each to his face and shoulder.

The three victims were last listed in stable condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

A man and woman were shot as they walked home in West Oak Lane later in the night.

It was about 11:30 p.m. when the couple was injured along the 2100 block of 66th Street, Action News reports. The male victim was shot in his leg, the female victim twice in her back.

The West Oak Lane victims, believed to be in their 30s, were listed in stable condition at Temple University Hospital.
