The former dean of students at Northeast High School, who turned himself into police yesterday for allegedly having sex with a 17-year-old student, was arraigned today, the district attorney's office announced.
Mark Preston Williams, 56, was charged with institutional sexual assault of a student, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of a minor, endangering the welfare of a child and interference with the custody of a child.
Williams bail was set at $50,000 and his next court date is scheduled for April 2.
Institutional sexual assault of a student is a felony in the third degree. No other details have been released at this time and the case is still under investigation.
