Cape Cod teenagers busted for home invasion

Four Cape Cod teenagers have been arrested in connectionwith a home invasion in East Falmouth on Saturday.

The teens allegedly stormed the house on Sandcastle Drive wearing ski masks and wielding a rifle and stun gun around 6:15 a.m.Saturday, according to a Falmouth police release.

Afterswiping items belonging to the homeowners, the teens took off, police said. Later, a home on Barnstable Road was searched and the missingjewelry, TVs, a DVD player, a telephone and liquor were discovered. The only thing missing was an amount of cash, Cape Cod Today adds.

Police arrested and chargedEast Falmouth 18-year-olds Michael Fernandes and Elijah Smith, and an unnamed North Falmouth 16-year-old with home invasion.Kayla Pina, 18 of East Falmouth, was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice. Police aresearching for Nicholas Licciardi, 17, of East Falmouth on home invasion charges, the Boston Globe reports.

The teens will be arraignedTuesday in Falmouth District Court.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities said they expect further criminal charges to be brought. Anyone with any information may call the Falmouth Police Department at 508-548-1212.
