Four people were shot in a Crown Heights park on Saturday night, police said, just one day after a fatal shooting ended the Brooklyn neighborhood’s recent peaceful streak.

An unknown shooter gunned down three men and one woman in St. John’s Park around 8:10 p.m., police said.

Two men were transported to Kings Count Hospital. One man, 32, had sustained a gunshot wound to his right ankle and was in stable condition. The other, 31, had been shot in the chest as well as his leg and arm and was in critical condition.

The other two victims, a man and a woman, were taken to Interfaith Hospital in stable condition. The man, 33, had been shot in his left arm and the woman, 54, had been shot in the right leg.

The bloodshed comes just one day after Todd Edward Wilks, 37, was shot to death just a few blocks from the park. Prior to that, it had been nearly three months since the neighborhood’s last instance of gun violence, according to local anti-violence groupSave Our Streets Crown Heights.

No arrests have been made, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
