Four people were injured when bullets began flying in a Southwest Philadelphia neighborhood Wednesday night.

One of the shooting victims reportedly was inside her Elmwood home as far as a block away from the shooter, or shooters.

The 26-year-old woman sustained a graze wound to her head, Philadelphia police said Thursday morning. A police spokeswoman could not confirm multiple reports the woman was inside her home when she was struck by a stray bullet.

Also injured in the hail of bullets in the area of Daggett Street and Dicks Avenue about 9:20 p.m. were a 41-year-old man, who was shot in the back of his left shoulder, and a 19-year-old man, who was shot in his right leg, police said. A fourth individual, identified as a21-year-old man, also reportedly was shot in his back.

The bullet that struck the 41-year-old man exited through his chest, according to police.

Police took all four victims to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. All were listed in stable condition as of Thursday morning.

Nearly 30 rounds reportedly were fired by the gunman, or gunmen.
