For the fourth time this month, a man is accused of sexual deviancy on the MBTA.
Salah Koutaiby, 49 of East Boston was arrested at Hynes MBTA Station Tuesday on suspicion of open and gross lewdness.
Transit Police said a woman reported that at 6:15 p.m., while waiting for a Green Line train, she saw a man standing on the inbound platform, exposing himself and committing a lewd act. A description of the suspect led police to Koutaiby, who was expected to be arraigned sometime Wednesday in Boston Municipal Court-Central Division.
The Transit Police said in a statement that they "believe that incidents such as described above are under reported crimes. We encourage all who may have witnessed and/or been victimized by such incidents to please contact us. We will vigorously investigate all reports and ensure those individuals who commit such acts are held accountable."
