After a taste of spring this weekend, temperatures in and around Boston are expected to drop back into the 20s and 30s, bringing light snowfall Monday and Wednesday.

The National Weather Service forecast a slight chance of snow showers before 4 p.m. Monday, and temperatures hovering between 15 and 30 degrees through the weekend. Snowfall may begin late Tuesday night and continue through Wednesday.

Saturday will also bring a chance of snow showers.

NWS meteorologist Eleanor Vallier-Talbot told the Boston Globe that winter will continue into the foreseeable future, with the possibility of record cold during the first weeks of March.
