A 7-year-old girl had three of her baby teeth yanked about by a school supervisor earlier this week, according to her mother.
The student, Harmani Osbi, attends Solis Cohen Elementary School in Northeast Philly and is in a class for kids with behavioral issues when the incident occurred, NBC reported.
According to her mother, Harmani was chewing on her sweater.
A "therapeutic worker" with the school told Harmani to stop chewing on the sweater, and when Harmani refused to stop, pulled the sweater away from the girl, pulling out three of her front teeth in the process.
School district officials condemned the incident and are reportedly filing a complaint with police and the Department of Human Services.
The therapeutic worker is currently suspended by her employer, Children's Crisis Treatment Center, reports say.
