Guess who's back.
A seventh installment of the iconic "Rocky" saga is in the works, according to a report from Deadline.
Sylvester Stallone is expected to reprise his role as Rocky Balboa in the film, tentatively titled "Creed," but will not lace up his boots. The storyline instead will focus on the grandson of Apollo Creed, played potentially by Michael B. Jordan, as he follows in his grandfather's footsteps. Balboa is expected to serve as the young Creed's mentor.
In first four movies, Creed, played by Carl Weathers, played Balboa's opponent, then enemy, and finally best friend.
"Fruitvale Station" director Ryan Coogler, 27, will write the script and direct the film. Coogler previously worked with Jordan on "Station."
