Former host of The Tonight Show Jay Leno will deliver remarks at Emerson College’s commencement ceremonies in May, the school announced today.

The former late-night television host graduated from Emerson College in 1973. Leno will deliver the undergraduate address and Scott Simon, an author, journalist, and host of NPR’s Weekend Edition Saturday, will give the graduate address, officials said.

News anchor Don Lemon and hunger relief advocate Catherine D’Amato will speak during the ceremonies. Leno, Simon, Lemon, and D’Amato will each receive a Doctor of Humane Letters, officials said.

The ceremonies will be held on May 11 at the Agganis Arena at Boston University, and will be streamed at www.emerson.edu/stream.
