Jeff Bauman, a Boston Marathon bombing survivorwho lost both of his legs, has a really exciting reason to celebrate with his fiancee.
Bauman’s fiancee, Erin Hurley, gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday, according to an announcement on Bauman’s Facebook page.
“Jeff and Erin are proud to announce the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Nora Gail Bauman, born [Sunday]. Everyone is happy and healthy,” the post said.
The couple earlier this yearannounced that they were engaged and expecting a child.
Bauman was standing near the finish line when the bombs went off. He lost both legs in the attack. Since then, Bauman has released a memoir titled “Stronger” that detailed his life since the bombings. Also, earlier this year he was a guest during President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address.
