The Framingham man who died while boating on the Fourth of July in Natick has finally been identified.
A spokesman for the state Environmental Police told WCVB that Jefferson Nunes, 23, fell off a boat on Lake Cochituate on the afternoon of the holiday and was struck in the head by a boat propeller.
The Metrowest Daily News reported that Nunes was taken to a Boston hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to the Metrowest Daily News, On Monday, another man named Luciano Pereira of Framingham was identified as the person who died in the accident. Police say that was a mistake, but Pereira is somehow related to the situation.
