Kidnapped Brooklyn developer found dead in Long Island

unnamed car Police are searching for two suspects who forced Menachem Stark into this vehicle late on Thursday night.

The body of a kidnapped Williamsburg real estate developer was found in a Long Island dumpster on Friday, police said.

Menachem Stark, 39, was last seen leaving his office at 331 Rutledge Street in South Williamsburg around 11:35 p.m. on Thursday night. Grainy surveillance video shows two people struggling with him for about two minutes as they forced him into a light-colored 2006 or 2007 Dodge Caravan before fleeing east on Broadway.

Stark’s badly burned body was found Friday afternoon 16 miles away on Long Island, in a dumpster at a Getty gas station in Great Neck, Nassau County police said.

The investigation has changed hands from Nassau County to the NYPD.
