A female Lafayette College student claims she was sexually assaulted early Sunday on the Eastern Pennsylvania campus, school officials said.
The woman said she was assaulted on an outdoor portion of the Easton, Pa., campus, according to Roger Clow, the college's director or communications.
It's not clear whether she knew her attacker.
While she told authorities that she did not wish to pursue criminal chargers, Clow said, the attacker is described as a 6-foot-tall man with blonde hair.
Clow said the campus community were sent text messages and email alerts at 4 a.m. Sunday.
"The college is continuing to investigate the matter and will continue providing an appropriate level of security," Clow said.
