Levi Aron pleads not guilty

Levi Aron, alleged killer of 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky, pleaded not guilty today in Brooklyn Supreme Court.

Aron arrived in court with a beard and orange v-neck prison shirt.

The Brooklyn district attorney’s office announced this morning that he was ruled fit for trial.

“There are absolutely no circumstances which would lead me to accept a plea bargain,” District Attorney Charles Hynes said.

The Daily News reports that Aron told cops, “I’m famous,” after he was arrested.

The Kensington resident, 35, has been locked up at Bellevue Hospital Center.
