Levi Aron reportedly considering guilty plea

The man suspected of killing 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky is considering pleading guilty, according to news reports.

Levi Aron, 35, faces charges of killing the boy after he got lost while walking home alone last year in Borough Park. He has pleaded not guilty.

According to the Daily News, Aron would receive a prison sentence of 40 years to life in exchange for pleading guilty.

Kletzky was found dead in a Dumpster last summer after a frantic search to find him. His murder prompted new proposals to protect children.

Aron will be in court Aug. 9.
