LIRR coat drive

PENN STATION – Have an old coat you or your children no longer wear? The LIRR is partnering with New York Cares to collect clean, gently-worn coats at Penn Station. Volunteers will be collecting coats near the escalators at the 34th Street entrance concourse from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. each weekday. Last year, over 70,000 coats were collected and given out.
