As part of the Salvation Army’s Christmas in July fundraising campaign, local celebrity mascots will join volunteers of Greater Philadelphia in hosting iconic red kettles to collect donations throughout Center City on Wednesday. Through this event, the organization will make the public aware of the urgency to provide basic needs funding for struggling Philadelphians.

Miss Philadelphia and Miss Philadelphia Outstanding Teen will ring the bell at the Bellevue Hotel on Broad and Walnut Streets at noon to kick off the event.
