The body of a murdered woman was found in the bathtub of her Lower East Side apartment on Saturday evening, police said.
NYPD officers responded to a report of an unconscious woman at 115 Eldridge Street at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
The woman, identified asMeilin Liu, 57, waspronounced dead at the scene.
By Sunday morning, police had ruled the death a homicide.The Medical Examiner is determining cause of death.
No arrests have yet been made in the investigation.
