Three young men were slashed by a man wielding a machete outside a Flatbush catering hall in the early hours of Saturday, police said, adding that the attack appeared to be gang-related.

Police received a report at 2:19 a.m. that a fight between two groups at Afrika House on Bedford Avenue had spilled outside and turned bloody.

The three victims were taken to Kings County hospital. One 19-year-old man was initially in critical condition with a severed artery in his neck but he no longer appears to be in danger of dying, police said.

Another man, 20, suffered a less serious laceration to the chest while the third, 34, was slashed in the right forearm. Both were treated and released.

No arrests have been made but an investigation is underway.

Police described the victims as “uncooperative.”
